My heart overflows with a pleasing theme;
I address my verses to the king;
my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.
—Psalm 45:1
“It’s alright. Hit me until you can’t any longer. I wish I could bear the weight of this burden for you — but I can’t.
—Ninan Drerethyn (WIP)
“So cry — scream if you need, and I will hold you.”

The decision to become an author is not an easy one. It is a road that is paved with self doubt and unending critiques — some of which can serve to tear one down rather than build them up. That being said, I believe the Lord has called me to this path and I am going to use the gift that He has given me. In this day and age, being a Christian author has become much more popular than it was in the past; but there are still hurdles we must overcome.
As I am writing to glorify the Lord and share his love with others, it should be understood that my writing will never uplift anything that is against God’s heart — one of those things being spice. I am a woman who has struggled with the battle of reading lustful novels disguised as romance, so I understand the pull that some may feel. However, that is why it is so imperative that I write clean fiction. My goal is to help others feel valued and understand that love does not stem from the physical, but from the spirit and then outward as God intended.
I have been blessed to have been given this opportunity and I do not intend to waste it and let it sit on the shelf as I have in the past. I am unsure how many stories the Lord will allow me to write, but as I do; I know that He will continue to mold both me and those who read my stories. So, thank you for taking the time to stop by — I can’t wait to share my works with you! May the Lord bless you and keep you!
